On your visit with us you are free to customize how you would like to spend your time in Tanzania. If you are coming as a volunteer with Nafasi Project you will still have plenty of free time to explore, travel and immerse yourself in African culture. Tanzania is located in the heart of East Africa and offers the best nature based tourism in all of Africa including Serengeti National Park, Mt. Kilimanjaro and Ngorongoro Crater. From your stay in Arusha you will have to option to continue your travels to Zanzibar Island, Lake Victoria, and Dar es Salam.
We are happy to accommodate individual travelers as well as large groups. Travelers will stay with local host families, eat traditional food, attend community events and much more.
