Primary School Sponsorships

Nafasi Project partners with Afroplan Foundation to create our Primary School Sponsorship Program. Sponsor a child in need by covering school fees through nursery and primary school. Children in this program come from vulnerable living conditions and might not be able to  attend any type of formal schooling without the financial and emotional support of a sponsor.

Vocational Skills Training Sponsorships 

In Tanzania, there is a very high drop-out rate of children not able to complete primary or secondary school. These children will commonly  work as day laborers or just return home to take care of younger siblings or neighbors who are also going without school. Nafasi Project refuses to believe that it is too late for these older children. Vocational training or apprenticeships provide practical  skills and exeriential training in a field that will lead to a brighter future for kids in this position.

Sponsor Responsibilities and Rewards

Nafasi Project is a small organization. We pride ourself in making sponsorships as personal as possible. Sponsorships are highly flexible as there is no one right way to give the gift of education. Sponsors will be matched with one child and learn about the family life and living conditions of this child. It is up to you, as the sponsor, to choose how involved you would like to be in your sponsored child's life beyond paying school fees. Nafasi Project will provide you with photos, report cards and receipts of payment along the way.
